The Morning
Our day began with a wonderful breakfast at the hotel that consisted of a range of toast, bagels, and juice (and a whole honeycomb!). Piazzale Michelangelo
In the afternoon and after our tours had concluded, we had more free time. I asked my friend Sam if he wanted to hike up to the Piazzale Michelangelo. It wasn't an easy walk up, since the fastest way (stairs going straight up) was closed. However, it all paid off. The views over Florence were breathtaking.
